To provide a cap for a hollow formwork panel for preventing the flow of concrete into the hollow formwork panel, and the hollow formwork panel with the cap.
The cap 30 for the hollow formwork panel seals the opening end face of the hollow formwork panel 40 having a weir plate portion 42, a side plate portion 43 and a reinforcing plate portion 45. It comprises a first abutting rib 33 provided on the surface of a flat plate 31 covering the opening end face of the hollow formwork panel 40 for abutting on a reverse face 44 of the weir plate portion 42. Preferably, it additionally comprises a second abutting rib 32 for abutting on the surfaces of the side plate portion 43 and the reinforcing plate portion 45, a fitting protruded portion 34 for fitting a hollow part of the reinforcing plate portion 45, and a finger contact preventing portion 35 for preventing fingers from contacting machine screws at their front ends protruded from the first abutting rib 32 when driving the machine screws to pass through the side plate portion 43 and the first abutting rib 32.
