Abstract:
To provide a cap for a joint capable of surely holding an inner cylindrical body within a range of dimensional tolerance of each of the cap for the joint and the inner cylindrical body.SOLUTION: A cap 1 for a joint is attached to a joint 10 to which a pipe is connected with an inner cylindrical body 50 inserted into an end part, and closes an opening part 10A of the joint 10 with the inner cylindrical body 50 held therein, in a state before the pipe is connected to the joint 10. The cap for the joint comprises a cap body 30 covering the opening part 10A, and a projection part 31 projecting from the cap body 30 in an axis direction along a central axial line O of the opening part 10A and arranged in the joint 10. The projection part 31 gradually extends toward the outside of a radial direction orthogonal to the axis direction as heading to an opening part 10A side in the axis direction, and is brought into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the inner cylindrical body 50 arranged in the joint 10, to hold the inner cylindrical body 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
