Abstract:
PURPOSE:To automatically mount a cap to a tire valve by providing a supplier supplying the cap to a tightening tool from a parts feeder and the tightening tool tightening the cap to the tire valve. CONSTITUTION:In case of mounting work, a cap 3, first arranged in a fixed attitude by a parts feeder 2, is supplied to a supplier 5 through a subfeeder 4. Next the cap 3 is dropped into a conveying pipe 6 and forced to be press fed by air from a blow hole 7. The cap 3 is supplied into a cylinder 18 from an introducing hole 17 in a tightening tool 8. While a valve 26 inserts its stem 27 from an opening part 16 of the cylinder 18. Thereafter the cap 3 fits its head part to a recessed part of a friction disk 19, while the cap 3 is integrally rotated with the friction disk 19 and a tightened to the stem 27. By a device thus obtained, the cap 3 can be automatically, efficiently and accurately mounted to the tire valve 26.
