PURPOSE: To provide a sprinkler head which makes it possible that a sealing cap may get rid of traces of painting even when the ceiling is painted after the sprinkler head is attached, and that a protective cap may be removed from the sealing cap by a weak power.

CONSTITUTION: A cap 10 comprises a cylindrical sealing cap 11 whose upper part is half-fixedly held by the lower part of a sprinkler head 1, and a bottomed- cylindrical protective cap 21 with a height covering at least a portion of the sealing cap 11 and an inside diameter nearly equal to the outside diameter of the sealing cap 11, which is inserted onto the sealing cap 11 in such a manner as to permit free installation and removal.
