Abstract:
To provide a capacitance type sensor which has improved detection sensitivity as compared with conventional ones in order to detect approach of an object or a biological signal at a greater distance and with more excellent accuracy.SOLUTION: A capacitance type sensor according to the invention comprises a high-frequency power source, a capacitance formation portion, a resistance, and a coil which are connected in series or in parallel. The capacitance type sensor further comprises: a measurement portion which measures at least one parameter of a group of parameters including impedance, resistance, reactance, admittance, conductance, and susceptance of the capacitance type sensor; and a processing portion which determines whether or not a movement as a subject to be detected is made on the basis of an amount of change in a measurement value of the parameter in a predetermined time period measured by the measurement portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
