Title:
CAPACITIVE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3215527
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To minimize the number of components and sealing.
CONSTITUTION: This capacitive sensor is provided with a housing, a front conductive surface, a sensor body which includes an insulation means between the conductive surface and the housing, and a coaxial cable of sealed type with mineral insulator which is connected to a device for measuring a capacitance whose conductive surface consists of a conductive surface forming the first capacitor pole plate and a reference conductive surface forming the second capacitor pole plate positioned at a prescribed distance from the conductive surface and facing it. The sensor body is constituted of an electrically open extension part 10 of the coaxial cable 20 sealed with the mineral insulator, and the above conductive surface is formed out of the free end 31 of a core wire 11 at the extension part. The housing is formed out of the sheath 12 of the extension part, and the insulation means is formed out of the mineral insulator 13 at the extension part.
