To provide a capacitor contained in a case capable of decreasing a wiring inductance with a simple configuration.
The capacitor contained in the case 2 comprises a capacitor element 1 with a first electrode plate 10 connected to one end surface 4 and a second electrode plate 11 connected to the other end surface 5, and the case 2 with a resin 22 filled. The one end surface 4 is positioned at an opening part 8 side of the case 2, and the other end surface 5 is positioned at the bottom side of the case 2. The second electrode plate 11 comprises an end surface connection part 12 connected to the end surface 5, a terminal connection part 13 arranged so as to be superimposed to the first electrode plate 10, and a coupling part 14 for integrally coupling the end surface connection part 12 and the terminal connection part 13. Terminals 19, 20 for external connection are connected to the terminal connection part 13 of the first electrode plate 10 and the second electrode plate 11, and each of the terminals 19, 20 is externally projected from the opening part 8 of the case.
