Abstract:
To obtain a large capacity of a supercharger without enlarging the supercharger.
This supercharger has a turbine impeller rotatingly driven by exhaust gas, a housing for covering the turbine impeller, a plurality of nozzle vanes 71 arranged at a predetermined interval around a rotary shaft of the turbine impeller, and a driving mechanism for supporting the nozzle vanes 71 so as to be tiltable. A capacity is set by setting the rear edge length L of the nozzle vanes 71 according to a request maximum flow rate of the exhaust gas supplied to the turbine impeller.
