Abstract:
To restrain breakdown of a capacitor constituting a capacity potentiometer, by making the capacity potentiometer compact.SOLUTION: A capacity potentiometer comprising multiple vacuum capacitors 2 connected in series includes an insulation tube receiving the multiple vacuum capacitors 2, and a bushing is formed of polymer on the periphery of the insulation tube. The vacuum capacitor 2 is constituted by insulating a high voltage side electrode 2a and a base side electrode 2b with an insulation cylinder 2c. A cylindrical protrusion 2d is provided in the central part of the end face of the high voltage side electrode 2a. A connection hole 2e is formed in the central part of the end face of the base side electrode 2b. Adjoining vacuum capacitors 2 are connected in series, by inserting the protrusion 2d of other adjoining vacuum capacitor 2 into the connection hole 2e of the vacuum capacitor 2. A conductive spring 10 is provided between the protrusion 2d and the back of the connection hole 2e into which the protrusion 2d is inserted. An O-ring 11 is provided on the periphery of the protrusion 2d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
