The capstan 3R for the wire-drawing apparatus around which a thin wire to be drawn is coiled while the wire diameter is reduced step by step toward the downstream side of the wire-drawing direction from the upstream side of the wire-drawing direction comprises a shaft member 31 to be driven by a motor MR, and a plurality of pulleys PR1-PRn-1 which are mounted in an attachably/detachably overlapping manner in the axial direction of the shaft member 31 and whose outside diameters DR1-DRn-1 are increased step by step toward the downstream side of the wire-drawing direction from the upstream side in the wire-drawing direction.
