PURPOSE: To produce a capsule capable of preventing aging of a liquid oil component effective for the skin, excellent in long-term stability and having an excellent touch as a medicine for external use, especially a cosmetic and provide its production method.
CONSTITUTION: This capsule is composed of liquid oil component-containing polymer components coated with a solid oil component. The liquid oil component and the solid oil component are selected from a higher fatty acid, an animal or vegetable oil, a hydrocarbon, an ester, a silicone, a higher alcohol, a pigment, a vegetable extract and an ultraviolet-absorber and the solid oil component begins to melt at a temperature higher than that where the liquid oil component begins to solidify and within a range of 30 to 100°C. The weight ratio of the liquid oil component to the polymer component is 0.5 to 10. This capsule is produced by stirring the liquid oil component together with a hot aqueous solution, adding a polymer component thereto to prepare the inside part of the capsule, subsequently adding the solid oil component thereto and quickly cooling the aqueous solution to coat the surface of the capsule.
