To provide a capsule medical device or the like capable of receiving external signals from the outside of a body by a reception system which can be configured more easily than before and whose circuit scale can be miniaturized more than before.
The capsule medical device comprises a cover member covering respective constituent elements of the capsule medical device, capable receiving the external signal transmitted from outside the subject through a conductor present inside the subject when the capsule medical device is placed inside the subject, and made of dielectric, a plurality of electrodes made of a conductor and provided in close contact with the surface of the inner wall of the cover member so as to receive the external signal, inductor circuits which are connected in series to the respective electrodes and each of which has an inductance value determined so as to constitute a resonance circuit having a resonance frequency almost equal to the carrier frequency of the external signal, and a signal receiving circuit to which the external signals received by the plurality of electrodes and the potential difference are inputted.
