CONSTITUTION: The caption sentence inputted is analyzed by a character analyzing machine 34, and a character arranging mechanism 38 extracts objective characters and character-arranging them from the analyzed results according to a predetermined original rule, and a point type setting machine sets the objective character point on the basis of an attributive information added at the time of inputting a caption sentence and according to a preliminarily determined original newspaper rule.
