To provide a caption correction device, program, and a caption correction method capable of playing back captions created during live distributed video without any discrepancies when playing back moving images afterward.SOLUTION: A caption correction device 110 has content storing means 111 for storing content including a moving image, an audio stream, and caption data, audio dividing means 113 for dividing the audio stream included in the content into unit audio, correspondence means 114 for mapping the unit audio to a caption, and playback time setting means 115 for matching the playback time of the caption to the playback time of the corresponding unit audio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
