To improve the efficiency of capturing an object.SOLUTION: A capture device 100 comprises an electrode 2, a first channel 11, and a second channel 12. The electrode 2 applies an electric field to the object to exert a dielectrophoresis force on the object. The first flow channel 11 has a first height h1 in the normal direction of one surface of the electrode 2, and the object flows therethrough. The second flow path 12 has a second height h2 higher than the first height h1 in the normal direction of one surface of the electrode 2, and the object flows from the first flow path 11 therethrough. The electrode 2 has a first electrode 21 provided in the first channel 11 and a second electrode 22 provided in the second channel 12. In the direction in which the object flows, a gap G1 is provided between the starting end 14 of the second channel 12 and the second electrode 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
