Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure which properly absorbs energy during a full-wrap collision while securing strength of a vehicle cabin during an off-set collision and an oblique collision.SOLUTION: A vehicle body structure includes: a toe board 10 which partitions the interior and the exterior of a vehicle cabin from each other at a front side of the vehicle cabin; a floor panel 20 forming a floor surface of the vehicle cabin; and a cross member 30 which is provided at the toe board 10, extends in a horizontal direction, and forms a closed cross section with the toe board 10. A reinforcement rigid member 50 connected to a portion of the toe board 10, which forms the closed cross section, at a front end side, connected to the floor panel 20 at a rear end side, and having an X shape in a plan view is provided in the vehicle body structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
