PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sliding movement of the grounding device to the ground surface from occurring in a car body supporting device wherein a tilt is applied to a jack, and the jack stretching width is widened.
SOLUTION: This car body supporting device 20 is constituted by providing the jack 21, a jack pad 30 which is pivotally combined with the lower part of the jack 21 in a manner to be freely rockable in the lateral direction of a car body 3, and a jack base 40 which is attached to the lower surface of the jack pad 30 in a manner to be freely movable in the lateral direction of the car body. In this case, the jack 21 is attached in a manner to gradually tilt downward as becoming closer to the outsides on both of the right and left sides of the car body 3, and can be freely stretchable downward. The grounding device 60 comprises the jack base 40 and the jack pad 30. The gravity center location of the grounding device 60 is arranged on the internal side of the car body from a rotation central axis X on which the jack pad 30 is pivotally combined with the jack 21 in such a manner that the jack base 40 under a lifted state from the ground surface J tilts downward as coming closer to the inside of the car body 3.
