To devise a power transmission controller for a brake controller system in such a way made applicable to customer's requirement with software even if the hardware of the car-brake controlling system is designed and manufactured with the specifications of the systems left undecided by the customer, in the device for controlling power transmission between a brake setting device in an operator's cabin of railroad car and a brake controller of each individual car.
A command control device (PC) that receives the braking command of the brake setting device is provided in the proximity of the brake setting device, and a terminal unit (a remote I/O) having input and output functions is installed in the proximity of or inside each brake controller. This terminal unit is connected to the brake controller, and the command control device (PC) and the remote I/O are connected with a common bus line. Then, a program that compensates the differences of brake control sequences is installed in the command control device (PC), and the software that compensates the differences of the controllers of the braking devices is installed in the remote I/O.
