Abstract:
To calibrate a distance measurement device of a collision avoidance assist system provided in a vehicle to a correct value with an extremely small error without being affected by a stoppage position of the vehicle at the time of inspection.SOLUTION: A vehicle calibration system is the vehicle calibration system that has a distance measurement device measuring a distance to forward obstacles. The vehicle calibration system is configured to calibrate the distance measurement device on the basis of: a vehicle halt unit for halting the vehicle at a prescribed halt position; an inspection-purpose object part provided forward the vehicle halted at the halt position, and captured by a camera; a reference value measurement device provided forward at an interval from the vehicle halted at the halt position, and measuring a reference distance to the vehicle; and the reference distance measured by the reference value measurement device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
