To improve a car height adjustment device for adjusting a car height by sucking or discharging working fluid through a pump installed in a jack chamber and to drive the pump with a smaller power than that of the prior art.
This car height adjustment device comprises a movable spring acceptor 1 that can move in an axial direction a shock absorber D, a housing 2 fixed to an outer cylinder T of the shock absorber D or a piston rod R and formed with a jack chamber inside, and a pump P for sucking or discharging working fluid to the jack chamber J. The movable spring acceptor 1 comprises a spring guide 10 for supporting one side end of a suspension spring S1 biasing the shock absorber D in its extending direction, and a jack piston 11 arranged at a counter suspension spring side of the spring guide 10, inserted into or discharged out of the inside of the housing 2 so as to close a suspension spring side opening of the jack chamber J. There is provided an auxiliary spring S2 for biasing the movable spring acceptor 1 toward the suspension spring, and a load of the auxiliary spring S2 is set to be always lower than a load of the suspension spring S1.
