PURPOSE: To provide a car load detection device capable of improving load detection performance of the car load detection device, detecting a load of a car in a form to be installed on a frame and using a load converter or a load cell common to different weight.

CONSTITUTION: A constitution is made of a frame of a car device, a car, support rods 16 arranged on four corners of the cage, one ends of which are connected to the frame, the other ends of which are connected to the cage and which receives tensile force in proportion to weight of the cage and its passengers and a load detection device 20 having a load detector 34 installed on at least one of the support rods 16 and to measure weight of the cage and a load support means 32 to make load input to the load detector 34 a separate component of an actual load loaded on the one support rod 16.
