Abstract:
The lock has a slot (16) by which the bolt moves the balk lever (3), to be held by a spring (14) loaded catch plate (4), on a lever (7) held in the balking position by a cable (6) on the motor (5) shaft (8), trapping the bolt. The electric motor may be energised to release the lever and catch plate.
