In the car model connection apparatus to connect car models to each other, a draw bar is bridged between adjoining car models in the front and rear directions thereof, and an arcuate sliding part having a center of curvature on each side of the draw bar is formed on the opposite sides of each end of the bar in the front and rear direction of the bar, while on the car body of the car model, a guide part is formed to allow the lateral rotation of the draw bar around each of the center of curvature of the draw bar in sliding contact with left and right arcuate sliding parts of the draw bar, whereby when the draw bar is biased laterally under an acting load from a neutral position where the draw bar is not laterally biased, the bar is turned so as to protrude from the car model.
