Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the modification of a sentence type pattern without requiring any modification of program by determining a voice message point on a route being set based on the current position of a mobile and the concept of voice message and reading out a voice message pattern code corresponding to the concept from a voice information memory section.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of voice message pattern codes are stored at a detachable voice information memory section 4 along with a plurality of corresponding voice waveform data. A control section 7 determines a voice message point and the concept of voice message on a route being set at a route setting section 2 based on the current position of a mobile detected at a current position detecting section 3 and a map data stored at a map information memory section 1. A message pattern code corresponding to the concept is read out from the memory section 4. A voice waveform data corresponding to the pattern code is delivered to a voice message delivering section 5.
