PURPOSE: To obtain a smooth traveling condition by outputting a position commanding signal of an actuator to correct an accelerator pedal stepping angle on the basis of deviation and a prescribed control gain by performing operation so that its deviation becomes small when car speed becomes larger than a limiting value.
CONSTITUTION: A car speed limiting control means 11 inputs a car speed signal, and controls an actuator 4 through a driving device 40 so that a deviation value between the car speed signal and a car speed limiting value becomes small when the car speed signal becomes larger than the car speed limiting value, and corrects a stepping angle of an accelerator pedal 1. An acceleration deceleration/constant speed judging means 13 judges whether present car speed is in a car speed stable period or an acceleration deceleration period when the car speed limiting control means 11 performs car speed control by correcting the stepping angle. This judging result is outputted to a control gain changing means 12. The control gain changing means 12 inputs a judging result of whether it is in a car speed stable period or an acceleration deceleration period, and outputs a control gain value suitable for it to the car speed limiting control means 11.
