To provide a car stop, which does not easily cause a positional displacement even when an impact is applied when parking a vehicle and is provided with good workability.

The car stop 10 is provided with: a car-stopping portion 20 which is projected above the ground in an installed state and abuts on wheels W of a parking vehicle, so as to prevent travelling of the wheels W; and a buried portion 50 which is buried in the ground. The buried portion 50 is formed to extend towards the wheels W side from the car-stopping portion 20 and to reach the lower side of the wheels W of the parking vehicle. Thus, the car stop 10 does not easily cause the positional displacement even when the impact is applied from the vehicle side. The car stop 10 is also compactly configured with good workability, since it does not cause the positional displacement even without an excessive enlargement.
