Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an on-car television device wherein a picture of an image monitor can not be seen by a driver during running of a vehicle and also the picture of a television can be seen by a fellow passenger other than the driver even during running.
CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a turnable or slidable image monitor 1, position detector 2, running condition detector 3, video signal interrupter 4 and a video signal generator 5, and by signals from the position detector 2 and the running condition detector 3, the video signal interrupter 4 judges a direction or a position of the image monitor 1 and whether running of a vehicle is provided or not, to on-off control a video signal from the video signal generator 5.
