PURPOSE: To provide a system for running a car by itself to the uppermost floor only by releasing an electromagnetic brake with using a conventional apparatus without newly arranging any controlling apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: An electric circuit for a car transfer system is provided with a switch 18, a maintenance purpose electromagnetic brake forcibly releasing condition circuit 19, which intemtittently releases an electromagnetic brake forcibly when the switch 18 is tuned on, an electromagnetic brake releasing B relay coil 17a, which is picked up when the condition circuit 19 is operated, and a B relay contact 17b which is turned on by a pickup of the coil 17a, in addition to a conventional up traveling relay contact 12, a down traveling relay contact 13, and the like. Therefore, the B relay coil 17a is picked up when a condition in the condition circuit 19 is established, the B relay contact 17b is turned on, current flows in the coil, an electromagnetic brake coil 15 is excited, the electromagnetic brake is released, and consequently, the car travels by itself to the uppermost floor.
