A drying means is provided with a freely elevatable top nozzle device 21, and a pair of right and left side nozzle devices 41. At least in any one of them, crossflow fans 26, 46 are arranged rotatably in nozzle bodies 22, 42 with intake sections 24, 44 and exhaust sections 25, 45, and driving motors 31, 51 are arranged in the nozzle bodies. Thus, the drying work relative to the vehicle to be washed can be adequately and suitably performed all the time evenly and uniformly in the length direction of the exhaust sections without causing a loss of airflow in the air for drying blown off by the rotation of the crossflow fans 26, 46. Moreover, there is no need for adopting a large size motor for the driving motors 31, 51, therefore, the noises can be minimized. Furthermore, the driving motors 31, 51 are directly attached to the nozzle bodies, therefore, the need for a space for the installation on the car wash body side is eliminated, and the entire car wash body can be miniaturized. and moreover, the elevating stroke of the top nozzle device 21 can be taken largely.
