To provide a car washing brush, which has a cost-effective structure and is excellent in dirt removing and washing efficiency without causing a scratch or leaving a hit mark on surfaces to be washed.

The car washing brush comprises a rotary shaft 2, and a cleaning member 3 fixed in the longitudinal direction of the periphery of the rotary shaft 2. The cleaning member 3 is made of at least a piece of a cylindrical member and has a plurality of hollow portions 4 in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft 2. The cleaning member 3 contacts the surfaces of a car body (not shown in Figures) to be washed, and the hollow portions 4 help the cleaning member 3 deform easily along the irregularities of the surfaces to be washed. Thus, no portion is left unwashed, the cleaning performance and wiping performance are significantly improved, and no car washing graze is left on the surfaces.
