Title:
CAR WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3489818
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately keep the surface pressure of a top brush in a car washing machine in which the top brush is elevated/lowered along a guide rail of a guide frame which is suspended from and supported by a traveling frame in an oscillating manner.
SOLUTION: In a process A in which a forward half portion of a car is washed by a top brush 8 by oscillating a guide frame 9 forward by a cylinder 13, the elevating speed of the top brush 8 is increased as the backward oscillating angle of the guide frame 9 is increased by the increase in the surface pressure, and the traveling speed of a traveling frame 4 is dropped. In a process B in which the cylinder is not in operation, and a rear half portion of the car is washed by the top brush 8, the lowering speed of the top brush 8 is increased as the backward oscillating angle of the guide frame 9 is decreased due to the decrease in surface pressure, and the traveling speed of the traveling frame 4 is dropped. Excessive increase/decrease of the surface pressure of the top brush 8 is avoided thereby, and the car washing effect is improved thereby.
