Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a relay with long life by operating a wiper drive motor through energization of relay with output of a water drop sensor, shutting off current supply to the relay when return action of the wiprer is completed, and thereby eliminating wasteful actions of the relay. CONSTITUTION:When rainfall is sensed by a water drop sensor S and the level of detection signal exceeds a reference voltage, a drive signal is given by a comparator circuit 21 to a pulse generating circuit 22, and a relay 23 is energized with drive signal 53 from this circuit 22, to switch over the contact 23b to the A side. Thereby a wiper drive motor M3 is put in operation, and the wiper W is reciprocated. Under reciprocations an auto switch 24 is turned into the A side, and simultaneously an interlock switch 27 will be turned on, so that current supply to motor M is continued thereafter even though the drive signal 53 becomes the L level, The wiper W makes return motion to change over the auto switch 24 into the A side at a certain point of time, and thereby the motor M is stopped.
