To provide a carbamic acid ester compound solving various problems in a conventional production of an isocyanate compound by thermal decomposition of the carbamic acid ester compound, and to provide a method for producing an isocyanate compound by using the carbamic acid ester compound.
The carbamic acid ester compound is represented by formula (1) (wherein, R1 is a linear or branched 1-12C alkyl group; Q1 and Q2 are each an ether group containing an aromatic group having a substituent, and provided that an aromatic hydroxy compound having 250C standard boiling point and a structure obtained by adding a hydrogen atom to each group). The method for producing the isocyanate compound by the thermal decomposition of the carbamic acid ester compound is also provided.
