Title:
CARBON-BASED HEAT-RESISTANT PIPE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND IN-FURNACE TEMPERATURE DETECTION DEVICE USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2022129451
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a carbon-based heat-resistant pipe with excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and chemical stability.SOLUTION: A carbon-based heat-resistant pipe includes a pipe base material 1 and a heat-resistant protective layer 2 coated on its outer surface. The pipe base material 1 is made by a wadding method, in which carbon fiber threads or other materials are wound around it, and a phenolic resin is impregnated in a wall part. The phenolic resin is burned off by a first calcination process, then a void of the pipe base material 1 is filled with an aluminum phosphate 14 to form a second calcination process, next, an inner layer 7 made of cement, such as alumina-based cement, and an outer layer 8 made of water glass (and borax mixture) are formed. Since the first and second calcination process can be done at 500-600°C, high corrosion resistance, chemical stability, and form stability can be ensured by the aluminum phosphate and the protective layer 2 without graphitizing the carbon fiber that makes up the pipe base material 1 (thus controlling costs).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
