Abstract:

To provide carbon black satisfying both properties of a jet black property and dispersibility and having a color tone tinged with blue and high safety.

The carbon black has the following characteristics: (a) ≤30 ml/100 g difference (ΔDBP) between DBP absorption amount and 24M4DBP absorption amount, (b) ≥40nm and ≤50 nm modal diameter (Dmod) of an aggregate, (c) ≤10 nm absolute value of the difference between 25% integrated value (D25) of the aggregate and Dmod and (d) ≤20 nm absolute value of the difference between 75% integrated value (D75) and Dmod of the aggregate.
