Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconium hydroxide mesoporous body useful as an adsorbent having high COadsorption amount almost similar to or more than conventional zeolite and a COabsorbent consisting of the zirconium hydroxide mesoporous body and having predetermined COadsorption amount.SOLUTION: A zirconium hydroxide mesoporous body having high specific surface area and high COadsorption amount can be synthesized by adding a zirconium raw material such as zirconium nitrate or the like to a sodium hydroxide solution with pH 13.0 or more, reacting them at room temperature and then separating a solid precipitation generated in a liquid phase from the liquid phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
