Abstract:
To provide a carbon graphitic carbon brush that contributes to the fine brake performance of a motor for an electric power tool having a brake function and to the longer life of a brush and a commutator.
The carbon brush used for a motor for an electric power tool having a brake function is made mainly of graphite powder and a binder, and contains a carbon fiber or graphite fiber of 10 m to 20 m in diameter and 0.05 to 0.2 mm in length at a weight percentage of 0.5% to 10% to a carbon brush base material.
