Title:
CARBON MATERIAL FOR ELECTRODE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02141413
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the adhesion of a polymer film and an org. film to a carbon material and the workability and strength of the carbon material by incorporating carbon contg. graphite.

CONSTITUTION: A carbon material for an electrode contg. ≥99.0wt.% carbon contg. ≥50wt.% graphite having ≤5μm average particle size and ≥1.50g/cm3 density is formed into a fine wire 1 having ≤1.5mm diameter. A lead wire 2 is connected to one end 1a of the fine wire 1, the peripheries of the wires 1, 2 are insulated with an insulating material 3 such as a poly(cobalt porphyrin) film and a film 4 having oxidation-reduction function is adhered to the other end 1b to obtain an electrode.
