Abstract:

To provide a carbon material for hydrogen storage which can increase the hydrogen storage capacity by physical adsorption at 273K to 303K.

Two or more threads of fibrous carbon 2 are entangled to form a bundle structure 3. Two or more threads of fibrous carbon are complicatedly entangled to form a bundle structure, and the space between the bundles functions as a proper hydrogen adsorption site, which is added to the adsorption capacity of the surface adsorption site to increase the hydrogen adsorption capacity in the temperature region from 273K to 303K.
