Abstract:

To provide a carbon material from which dust formation in machining is prevented, and its machining method.

A carbon material to be machined is impregnated into its inner tissue with a dust-preventive agent such as paraffin, wax, oils and fats. The carbon material impregnated with the dust-preventive agent is machined by a machine tool.
