Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO methanation catalyst which has an activity to subject CO to methanation and then to eliminate in a wide temperature range from a low temperature while having a high reaction selectivity to the CO even if an introduced gas contains CO; and to provide a method for eliminating the CO in hydrogen using the catalyst.SOLUTION: The carbon monoxide methanation catalyst is constituted of: porous silica having 1-49 mass% of titanium; and ruthenium.
