To provide a carbon monoxide production furnace in which the supply quantity of oxygen in the center of the furnace where almost of all coke is supplied is controlled to be larger than that in the periphery without imposing an excess load on an oxygen blowing nozzle and the combustion unevenness of the coke hardly occurs.

The occurrence of the unevenness of the combustion is suppressed without imposing the excess load on the oxygen blowing nozzle by providing 6 pieces of the oxygen blowing nozzles on a circle set in the center of the bottom surface of the carbon monoxide production furnace with an equal interval and one piece of the oxygen blowing nozzle on the center of the bottom surface to enable to supply oxygen corresponding to the distribution of the supply quantity of the coke.
