Abstract:
To provide a means for solving the problem of the lowering of catalytic activity caused by the coating of one component on a carrier with another component, in a CO selective oxidation catalyst containing a platinum atom.
The CO selective oxidation catalyst containing the platinum atom is characterized by containing a cobalt atom in a cobalt aluminate form. The manufacturing method of the CO selective oxidation catalyst has a process for preparing an inorganic carrier containing cobalt aluminate and a process for supporting platinum particles on the inorganic carrier.
