To provide a carbon nanotube-containing aqueous styrene-based resin composition provided with high electric conductivity and contamination resistance with small addition of an amount of carbon nanotubes, while retaining excellent compatibility, dispersibility and processability relative to matrix resins such as polystyrene and polycarbonate; and to provide a method for producing the same.

The carbon nanotube-containing styrene-based resin composition is obtained by suspension-polymerizing, in the presence of carbon nanotubes, a monomer mixture containing a styrene-based monomer dispersed in an aqueous emulsifier solution. The method for producing the carbon nanotube-containing styrene-based resin composition is also provided.
