To provide an air battery with improved discharge capacity.SOLUTION: In a carbon nanotube film for an air battery positive electrode, a BET specific surface area is equal to or more than 400 m2/g, a specific surface area of pores with a diameter of 1 to 1,000 nm is equal to or more than 200 m2/g, a ratio (G/D ratio) of a G-band peak intensity to a D-band peak intensity in a Raman spectrum is 30 to 100, and a content of an oxygen atom obtained by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is 3.0 to 10.0 atom%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
