Abstract:
SOLUTION: A carbon short fiber nonwoven fabric is a wet type nonwoven fabric involving a carbon short fiber and has tensile strength of under 500 N/m in its longitudinal direction after soaking in water of 25°C for 5 min, a compounding ratio of a thermal fusion binder fiber of under 20 mass%, and a mean fiber length of the carbon short fiber of under 40 mm.EFFECT: A carbon short fiber nonwoven fabric, capable of regenerating an end material formed on processing a carbon short fiber nonwoven fabric to a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) as a carbon short fiber nonwoven fabric easily.SELECTED DRAWING: None
