Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber having low resistance at high productivity while saving power and a production method of the same.SOLUTION: A carbon fiber of the present invention includes a fibrous carbon fiber to which boron is added and has the resistivity of a fibrous carbon material of one third or smaller compared with a case where the boron is not added. A production method of the carbon fiber of the present invention includes a heating and adding process by which the fibrous carbon material and an additive containing boron are heated in a heating furnace and the boron vaporized by heating is added to the fibrous carbon material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
