Abstract:
To provide a hydroxyguanidine carbonic acid ester compound useful as a synthetic intermediate of a dyestuff or coupler for photography and an industrially advantageous method for producing the same compound.
This method for producing the hydroxyguanidine carbonic acid ester compound expressed by general formula (A) (wherein, R1 is H, an alkyl, an aryl or a heterocyclic group; R2 is an alkyl or an aryl; and R1 and R2 may have each a substituent) is characterized by using a hydroxyguanidine compound, and the hydroxyguanidine carbonic acid ester compound is also provided.
