Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive copying paper having good color developing capability and friction staining resistance.SOLUTION: There is obtained a pressure-sensitive copying paper having good color developing capability by incorporating a rosetta-type light calcium carbonate in which spindle-shaped primary particles are radially aggregated to form secondary particles into a developer layer in a pressure-sensitive copying paper in which the developer layer is provided on a support. The rosetta-type light calcium carbonate preferably has a bulk density of 240 g/L or less, especially 150 to 220 g/L because the color developing capability is further preferable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
