Abstract:
To provide a superabsorbent composition useful for the design of an effective absorbent product giving no wet feeling to the wearing person.
The invention provides a carboxyalkylcellulose produced from pulp having a kappa value of about 1 to about 65 and a water-soluble carboxyalkylcellulose containing a pulp treated with a carboxyalkylating agent of an amount sufficient for getting a carboxyalkylated pulp having a carboxy saturation degree of about 0.4 to about 1.4.
